# Could ES6 modules improve caching?

I think [this](https://discourse.elm-lang.org/t/code-splitting-and-dynamic-importing/2025) is the discussion that Rupert is referring to, which includes a link to Evan’s exploration.

I also found [this](https://discourse.elm-lang.org/t/code-bundle-splitting-of-elm-programs/9693) interesting project for the specific case of multiple applications compiled from the same code base.
