I just saw Richard`s talk about using Haskell on the backend of NoRedInk.

He mentions there that the compiler messages in Haskell are horrible.
Luckily, there is Eta, which is Haskell on the JVM.

And you can use them, in order to gain human-friendly error messages, just like in Elm. [https://twitter.com/jyothsnasrin/status/1037703436043603968](https://twitter.com/jyothsnasrin/status/1037703436043603968)

This can be helpful for everyone who uses Haskell on the backend and likes their Elm like error messages back.

I am well aware that this is a little bit offtopic, while it still has some relevance and the people at NoRedInk and other companies surely can appreciate that.

Happy day 🤗
