# Finding the right Markdown package

Hi there, I’m struggling to find the right markdown package.

## I need a Markdown package that

- can turn my markdown file into `Element msg` type. (Elm-Ui Support)
- allows for custom items or blocks (Extendable Parser)
- allows the full CommonMark spec (Complete)

The only contender I could find is [pablohirafuji/elm-markdown](https://dark.elm.dmy.fr/packages/pablohirafuji/elm-markdown/latest). Though up until now I could neither get extendability nor Elm-Ui to work (without forking the package).

Help 😭

Hey, I haven’t used Dillon’s package yet, but I’ve heard it’s extendable and on the way to support the full spec (there is even a GSoC for that)
