Ok cool. I think this is a good summary of the available options and can be a resource for anyone else who might want to call window.confirm or window.alert from Elm. However from an engineering perspective, none of these options strike me as particularly satisfying.

I think the fourth is just not to use window.confirm and make your own dialog.

I agree with this. We’ve used the krisajenkins/elm-dialog package to great effect in our applications. Making your own allows for a tremendous amount of flexibility. Highly recommended.
