Elm land vs Elm spa

Elm land and Elm spa look very similar (at least in the surface) and looks like the main author is the same person (@RyanNHG), so I’m struggling to understand the differences.

I wish there was a FAQ comparing the two. Right now, it feels like Elm land is more beginner-friendly, while Elm spa is going towards more advanced users. Is this view correct? Or is Elm land the future and comes to replace Elm spa someday?

I hadn’t actually heard of Elm Land before, but I’m very interested in seeing how it develops in the future! Here’s a tweet from the author explaining its relationship with elm-spa:
