Very useful tool, thanks!

I noted that matches in the first line of ‘Thing to Match’ text are correctly highlighted, but on later lines, the highlight appears a few characters to the right of the matched expression.

Thanks for looking at this. Right now I’m kind of struggling with the line breaks in the text area and I’m hoping to have a solution soon.
