Hi all!
Lamdera v1.5.0 is now out! It’s a big one, after a long year of cleanups, fixes and refinements behind the scenes. Here’s a quick summary:
- Elm 0.19.3 – the compiler is now built on Elm 0.19.3, and apps at 0.19.1, 0.19.2 or 0.19.3 all build unmodified
- 20-100x faster Wire – codecs are now generated as direct JS: same wire format, a fraction of the memory
- Safer virtual DOM – @lydell’s elm-safe-virtual-dom by default, so browser extensions can’t crash your app
- Hot reloading and a faster
lamdera live - Faster compiles – 1.66x faster, with identical output
Plus a long list of fixes and improvements.
