How I use Nix in my Elm projects

I wrote a short post explaining how I’ve been using Nix in my Elm projects. It’s just to pique your curiosity and possibly make you go off exploring what Nix can offer you on your own.

Cool stuff, thanks for sharing!

Folks might also be interested in the nix expression for my photo album project, which runs elm make, elm-review, and elm-test.

In the past it even applied patches to elm/core.

Relatedly, I made some nix functions which build elm projects as nix derivations straight from the elm.json file - no need to commit binaries or update nix files when updating dependencies. It can be found here: mkElmDerivation.
