This isn’t mine, but it made me think of this community and how there’s, I hope, not pressure for people to perform, for people to be themselves.

That was a cool read! I definitely think, for whatever reason, the Elm community generally has a healthier position on the Audience Capture spectrum. Maybe even if it’s just because we’re a smaller community.
I can’t quite get through that article by the way it’s written, but I understand the sentiment. I think Bowie said it best to “never play to the gallery”. Perhaps that’s how some of us feel.

That Bowie clip is really on point with how I feel about engineering as a whole I think, though I didn’t have the words.
