I created a list of all companies that hire for jobs with functional programming languages.
I know you all would prefer working with Elm, but I guess an OCaml job would still be preferable over a Java job!
This is useful, thanks!
I appreciate that you separate pure functional and functional-first languages. It’s not practical for me to accept work only in pure FP languages and it has diminishing returns compared to efficient and pervasive immutability and decent types, but it’s a nice bonus.
Rambling aside, a piece of feedback: any insight into the remote policies of the companies (in office vs remote worldwide vs specific timezone, continent or country) would be very useful. Several lists gather remote companies, I have found those two to be the most useful:
Thanks!
Keeping track of the remote policies would be nice for sure, but I fear it’s going to be too much work. Especially since a lot of companies are currently rethinking their remote policies. In comparison to other lists, the links at least already point directly to the career page.
Fair enough, I hadn’t notice you pointed systematically to the career page
